It took its place at the 1st National Regional Development Congress
The 1st National Regional Development Congress, organized by the Düzce University Specialization Coordination Office in Environmental and Health Technologies, bringing together scientific knowledge and experience in the field of regional development, was held. Hitit University participated in the congress as the Technology Transfer Office and Specialization Coordination Office.
The program was attended by the President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA), Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Şeker, the Rector of Düzce University, Prof. Dr. Nedim Sözbir, the Rector of Gümüşhane University, Prof. Dr. Oktay Yıldız, the President of the Turkish Institute of Traditional and Complementary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Elif Güler Kazancı, protocol members, and academics and students from various universities across Turkey.
Representing Hitit University at the congress were the Director of the Technology Transfer Office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Özdilli, and the Coordinator of the Machinery and Manufacturing Technologies Application and Research Center (MİTAM), Dr. Sertaç Samed Seyitoğlu.
At the congress, where academics from many universities across Turkey shared their studies in the field of regional development, Dr. Seyitoğlu presented their findings. Member Sertaç Samed Seyitoğlu also gave an important presentation. Seyitoğlu shared his study titled “Institutional Capacity, Resource Utilization and Visible Outputs in the Regional Development-Oriented Specialization Program: A Multi-Source Evaluation of Specialized Universities in Turkey” with the participants.
