Our Office
The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) serves as a strategic bridge that transforms Hitit University's scientific knowledge into economic, social, and technological value.
By connecting the university's research capacity with the industrial, public, and entrepreneurial ecosystems, it aims to commercialize knowledge, transform innovative ideas into products, and contribute to regional development. TTO is the institutional driver of the university's entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology generation mission.
Hitit University has been restructured around its area of expertise: Machinery and Manufacturing Technologies; university-industry collaboration processes, intellectual property management, and entrepreneurship support mechanisms have been systematized.
The Technology Transfer Office was established to ensure that the knowledge generated by the university's R&D activities is transformed into added value. In this context, TTO is the implementing unit of Hitit University's "Strengthening Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Capacity" axis. Its founding purpose encompasses three fundamental strategic objectives:
1. To establish university-industry collaboration within an institutional framework,
2. To support the production, registration, and commercialization of intellectual property,
3. To ensure the sustainability of the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
With the establishment of the TTO, the outputs of university research projects were no longer limited to scientific publications; tangible innovation outputs such as patents, utility models, prototypes, and licenses began to be produced.
The TTO is responsible for coordinating all processes that support the transformation of research results into social benefit and economic value. Joint R&D projects, technology consulting services, and industrial doctoral programs conducted with industrial organizations operating throughout Turkey, particularly in Çorum and its surrounding area, directly contribute to the region's production capacity.
The TTO professionally manages the processes of protecting academic research outputs within the framework of intellectual property rights and transforming them into economic value.
