Generations raised on science came together at the 2nd Alaca Children's Research Symposium.

The second Alaca Child Research Symposium was held under the auspices of our Vocational School. Bringing together students and teachers from different cities, the symposium stood out as an important platform for scientific production and child-focused research.

In her opening speech, the Director of Alaca Avni Çelik Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Songül Özüm, emphasized that vocational schools are not only institutions that provide vocational training, stating:

“As a Vocational School, we continue to work with an understanding that not only provides vocational training but also contributes to the upbringing of individuals who research, question, and add value to society. We will continue to support every effort that connects our children with science. I believe that this symposium will grow even larger in the coming years, reach more students, and Alaca will become one of the exemplary centers known for science.”

Alaca Mayor Şerif Arslan also highlighted the importance of such scientific events held in the district in his speech.

Speaking at the opening panel of the symposium, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nisa Gökten Kaya, a faculty member at Hitit University Faculty of Health Sciences, gave a presentation titled “Understanding the World of Children: Raising Inquiring Generations,” providing information on ways to support children's scientific curiosity.
