Our department's Medical Laboratory Techniques Program welcomed its first students for the 2019-2020 academic year. Our program prepares students for the field with its experienced and dynamic faculty and hands-on courses related to the areas needed in the healthcare sector.
Our primary goal is to train qualified medical laboratory technicians who are highly self-confident and equipped with knowledge and skills.
Graduates of our program can find employment opportunities in biochemistry, microbiology, histology, pathology, hematology, serology, parasitology, and neurophysiology laboratories of public and private institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Health; in Community Health Centers; in Public Health Institutes; in blood centers; in vitro fertilization centers; in the microbiology research laboratories of pharmaceutical companies; and in companies that develop, produce, or market medical laboratory equipment.
