Lateral transfer from other higher education institutions
(1) In lateral transfer processes to associate/undergraduate degree programs, the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions" published in the Official Gazette dated 24/4/2010 and numbered 27561 shall apply.
(2) Lateral transfers from evening education (second education) programs of other higher education institutions can only be made to equivalent evening education programs of the University. However, students who successfully complete their current class within the top 10% of their class in evening education programs and move to the next class may transfer to regular education programs within the established quotas.
(3) Lateral transfers can be made from regular or evening education programs to open or distance education programs.
(4) Regarding other matters related to lateral transfers between higher education institutions, the relevant regulations, decisions of the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) on this subject, and the principles determined by the Senate shall apply.
Internal lateral transfer (within the University)
(1) Students may transfer to equivalent level programs within the University's own units or other units within the University during their education period, within the principles and quotas determined by the Senate.
(2) Lateral transfers can be made from regular education programs of the University units to evening education programs of the same program without quota limitations. However, students who transfer to evening education programs shall pay evening education fees.
(3) Students studying in the evening education programs of the University units who rank in the top 10% of their class in terms of success and move to the next class may transfer to regular education programs within the established quotas.
(4) Regarding other matters related to internal lateral transfers, the relevant regulations, decisions of the Council of Higher Education on this subject, and the principles determined by the Senate shall apply.
Vertical Transfer
Regarding matters related to vertical transfer, the higher education legislation on vertical transfer shall apply.
