Our goal:
To enhance the University's reputation and desirability by helping students and graduates plan their career goals in line with their education, talents, and interests, while remaining aware of labor market needs, and to develop their employability skills.
Our scope of activities includes:
- * Providing guidance and consultancy services to help university students and graduates plan their career goals in line with their education, talents and interests, and by being aware of the needs of the labor market,
- * To prepare and implement the Career Planning/Work Life Skills training curriculum, which will last at least one semester, once a week, during the first year of university education,
- * To organize other training programs to facilitate the job search and finding processes of university students and graduates and to develop their employability skills,
- * Supporting the development of students/graduates' employability skills by preparing online resources, tools and materials related to career development,
- * Organizing activities such as training, fairs, seminars, conferences, panels and workshops to increase experiential learning, job and internship opportunities for university students and graduates.
- * To establish collaborations with the Career and Alumni Office and all external stakeholders (relevant public institutions and organizations, İSKUR, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Professional Chambers, KOSGEB, relevant NGOs, Technology Transfer Offices, Organized Industrial Zones, Municipalities, etc.) and to organize activities to develop existing collaborations.
- * To establish student clubs/societies related to career planning within the university, to develop joint projects and to support the implementation of these projects.
- * To cooperate with national/international career platforms that work in the field of career counseling.
- * Establishing an alumni information management system and CV database that introduces alumni, includes their contact information, tracks changes in their social status and career development, and creating information pools containing personal websites, social media addresses and e-mail addresses within this framework.
- * To develop and implement strategies to promote the University's activities more effectively among alumni and to encourage alumni to contribute to the University.
- * To carry out activities that increase social, cultural and professional solidarity and cooperation among graduates and students,
- * Informing students about the office's services
- * To use all kinds of printed and visual media in line with the objectives and activities of the office.
