The Forensic Sciences Master’s Program at Hitit University commenced its education in 2018 with an interdisciplinary approach. The program aims to build the foundation of justice on scientific principles by integrating the knowledge and expertise of various fields such as chemistry, biology, engineering, anthropology, law, and medicine.
Today, forensic sciences have become a broad field extending far beyond laboratory techniques, encompassing areas such as evidence evaluation, crime scene analysis, forensic medicine applications, and digital trace examination. The program seeks to equip students with the theoretical depth and practical skills necessary to comprehend this multidimensional structure.
The language of instruction is Turkish. With course contents prepared in accordance with international standards, graduates acquire the qualifications needed to work as researchers, specialists, or consultants in public institutions, forensic laboratories, law enforcement units, universities, and private-sector organizations.
The vision of the program is to train qualified professionals who will support the justice system through scientific evidence; its mission is to educate forensic researchers who are grounded in the scientific method and committed to impartiality and ethical values.
