Graduate education in Philosophy and Religious Studies helps students develop the ability to conduct scholarly research, access information, and evaluate and interpret knowledge critically.
Our aim is to train individuals who have acquired the competence to conduct scientific research within the disciplines of the department, are well-versed in the field’s challenges and capable of producing solutions, and who embrace principles of scientific thinking and ethics. We seek to cultivate scholars with qualities of inquiry, development, productivity, and active participation in academic matters, conduct research to address societal problems in philosophy and religious studies, contribute to the scientific body of knowledge, and share their findings with relevant stakeholders.

Our department offers Master’s and Doctoral programs within the Graduate Education Institute. There are Master’s programs in Philosophy and Religious Studies, Sociology of Religion, Islamic Philosophy, and Psychology of Religion. Additionally, our department leads an interdisciplinary non-thesis Master’sprogram in Moral and Values Education in Early Childhood. The department also offers a Doctoral program in Philosophy and Religious Studies.
