The Department of Physics conducts research and educational activities aimed at understanding the fundamental laws of the universe. Our department aims to train individuals with contemporary knowledge in both theoretical and experimental physics.
Our educational programs aim to equip our students with the skills to analyze natural phenomena using scientific methods, design experiments, interpret data, and solve problems.
Research is conducted in the fields of solid state physics and mathematical physics in our Department. Graduate-level studies contribute to the scientific development of our country in both basic science and applied research areas.
As the Department of Physics, our vision is to create a research environment that encourages scientific curiosity, is internationally recognized, produces high-quality research, and contributes to the technological advancement of society.
The Department of Physics has 5 academic staff members who are experts in their fields, including 2 Professors and 3 Associate Professors. Candidates who meet the necessary requirements and are admitted to the program complete the required and sufficient course credits within one academic year, finish their studies in their chosen field of physics in line with the needs of the era, and earn a Master's degree.
