Graduation - Design

Supporting documents for the Graduation and Design are ATTACHED.

The project team and advisor designation form must be completed during the second week of each semester.

The Deadline for Submitting Booklets to Advisors is Friday, Week 14, by 5:30 PM each semester. Students who fail to submit their booklets to their advisors will not be eligible to participate in the Graduation/Design Defense.

Students who successfully defend their thesis must have their thesis signed by their advisor and the jury and upload it as a zip file (to be added soon). The zip file must include the Graduation or Design PDF Booklet, Similarity Ratio Report, and CV.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Note 1: The interim report and final report are submitted digitally in a format approved by the advisor. The final report is prepared in accordance with the writing rules, content, and layout determined by the Department.

Note 2: Following the similarity check; The overall similarity rate of the project report must be below 20% and/or below 6% similarity rate with a single document.

Note 3: All students completing a graduation project must attach their CVs to the last page of their thesis. (All information, including photographs, must be up-to-date.)

Note 4: The procedure for preparing your reports or booklets must be as described (required) in the attached Graduation and Design Writing Guidelines and Sample Design Graduation Files.

Note 5: If it is determined that the report was prepared using natural language processing-based software, the report will be invalid.

Note 6: Graduation and Design groups must consist of a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 4 students. A student cannot form a group individually.

Note 7: The total number of students in groups where a faculty member develops a graduation project and design together must not exceed 12 students. (For example, while a faculty member can work with three groups of four students each, it is not possible to work with a new group.)
