Hitit University's Computer Engineering Department is returning with awards from TEKNOFEST Mediterranean, a competition bringing together aviation, space, and technology enthusiasts from Turkey and around the world. Competing in the finals of the TEKNOFEST 2024 Artificial Intelligence in Transportation Competition, Hitit University's Computer Engineering HititAITech team achieved great success by placing second in Turkey among 2,707 other teams. Led by team captain Res. Asst. Harun Emre Kıran and mentored by Prof. Dr. Akif Akgül, the HititAITech team, consisting of Zübeyir Dönmez, Enes Ünver, and Dr. Emre Deniz, received their second-place award at the final ceremony held at Adana Şakirpaşa Airport.
