The academic productivity of undergraduate students in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at our University's Faculty of Engineering continues to grow. Following their contributions to the literature last year, our students have published 3 new international articles at the undergraduate level this year, bringing their total number of publications to four.
These studies were conducted with great team spirit and dedication as part of the "Research and Report Preparation Techniques" course taught by Asst. Prof. Enes Efe. The scientific research outputs achieved by our students during their undergraduate studies significantly contribute to our university's global visibility and international academic metrics.
Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Işık, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, congratulated all the publishing students and emphasized the importance of these competencies in the professional world. Prof. Işık stated:
"It is a great source of pride for us that our students conduct research at a level that contributes to the literature and successfully manage the publication process while still in their undergraduate years. Today, the most sought-after profile in the R&D departments of technology companies consists of engineers who can think analytically, filter literature accurately, and base their projects on scientific foundations. The research culture our students have acquired will provide them with a significant competitive advantage in corporate R&D activities after graduation."
