It was established in 2005 as Gazi University Osmancık Vocational School, affiliated to Gazi University with the decision of the Higher Education Executive Board and the Law No. 2880 of the Law No. 2547.
As of September 10, 2009, the name of Osmancık Vocational School was changed to Osmancık Ömer Derindere Vocational School, pursuant to the Higher Education Council Decision.
Our Vocational School, which started its education in the 2005-2006 academic year with a total of 40 students enrolled in the Computer Technology and Programming Program and Industrial Electronics Program under Gazi University, and gave its first graduates at the end of the 2006-2007 academic year, our Vocational School became a part of Hitit University in 2006. With its establishment, it was connected to the new university.
In the following years; Electronics Technology Program, Secondary Education, Office Management and Executive Assistant Program, Marketing Program, Occupational Health and Safety Program, Map Cadastre Program in 2011, Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program in 2012, Logistics Program in 2013, Land Registry and Cadastre Program in 2018 were opened in 2008.
