Land Registry and Cadastre, Occupational Health and Safety, and Mapping and Cadastre Programs Held an Internal Stakeholder Meeting

Faculty members from the Mapping and Cadastre, Occupational Health and Safety, and Land Registry and Cadastre programs held a meeting focusing on key topics aimed at enhancing the quality of education. During the discussion, alternative assessment and evaluation methods, course syllabi, and planned course activities were comprehensively reviewed.

Participants exchanged ideas on different assessment approaches that could be applied in courses, emphasizing the importance of using process-oriented evaluation tools to more effectively measure student performance. The necessity of increasing the use of practical and project-based evaluation methods was also highlighted.

The departments’ course contents and syllabi were reviewed to assess their alignment with industry expectations, and a consensus was reached on the need to expand the number of practice- and project-based courses. Additionally, participants discussed plans for organizing exhibitions, practical sessions, projects, panels, and conferences within the scope of the courses. It was suggested to promote interactive activities that encourage student participation and to organize joint events through interdepartmental collaboration.
