Green Crescent Addiction Awareness Trainings Held at Our Faculty

Peer trainings on various types of addiction were held at our faculty for 5 days as part of the "Green Crescent Addiction Awareness Trainings" developed by the Turkish Green Crescent Society. The trainings aimed to raise awareness in different areas of addiction such as technology, tobacco, alcohol, substance, and gambling addiction. The trainings covered the individual and social effects of addiction, prevention methods, healthy lifestyle habits, and the importance of awareness in the fight against addiction. Our students showed great interest in the peer trainings, and a total of 260 students received training during the program. Participants' questions were answered and information on the subject was provided. We would like to thank the Green Crescent Çorum Branch, Social Service Specialist Şükran Uzun, and our students who are Turkish Addiction Combat Trainers and who took part in the trainings.
