Recently, there has been an increase in fraud cases among students involving the use of IBAN/bank account information for money transfers belonging to others. Even when done in good faith, such transactions can have serious legal and criminal consequences.
To prevent our students from becoming victims and unintentionally involved in crime, we strongly urge them not to share their bank accounts and IBAN information with third parties, not to trust promises of short-term gains, and to report any suspicious situations to the relevant authorities.
