The "Basic Literacy Skills Workshop," organized by the Çorum Provincial Directorate of National Education under the coordination of the Çorum Measurement and Evaluation Center, was held with the participation of teachers, academics, and education stakeholders.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeliz BOLAT, a faculty member from the Department of Child Development, represented the department and met with field experts. The sessions focused on practices and proposed solutions for developing students' basic literacy skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and science.
The recommendations obtained from the workshop are planned to be compiled into a report that will contribute to the process of strengthening basic literacy skills in Çorum.
