Our Faculty was established by the Decision of the Council of Ministers dated 10.10.1996 and numbered 96/8655, which was published in the Official Gazette dated November 2, 1996, and numbered 22805. Education and training began in 1997 under the name Çorum School of Health (Gazi University) as an affiliate of Gazi University. In 2006, following the decision of the Council of Ministers and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), it was officially affiliated with the newly established Hitit University, and its name was changed to the Hitit University School of Health. The name was finally changed to the Hitit University Faculty of Health Sciences with the Official Gazette dated 06.07.2018 and numbered 30470.
Our current education building includes an Administrative Building, a Sports Hall, a Conference Hall, and Laboratories. Within the Faculty, there are a total of 15 academic staff offices, 10 classrooms, and a canteen.
The Department of Health Management was established in 2014 and was affiliated with the School of Health in 2017. Our application for student admission to the Department for the 2018-2019 academic year was approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Education and training commenced in the 2018-2019 academic year with a quota of 60 students for Regular Education and 30 students for Evening Education. Currently, only the Regular Education program is continuing its academic life. Education and training activities in our Department are carried out with 4 faculty members who are graduates in Health Management and have sector experience, and 3 research assistants.
