An “International Health Insurance” conference was held by the Department of Health Management, Faculty of Health Sciences at Hitit University on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the faculty conference hall.
The conference was delivered by Insurance Risk Management Specialist Pelin BAŞIBÜYÜK TUĞUT, who shared her knowledge and experience in the field of health insurance with the students.
Within the scope of the conference, comprehensive information was provided on international health insurance, cross-border health insurance practices, insurance services offered in Türkiye and abroad, and private insurance systems. In addition, the role and importance of global health insurance practices in the field of health management were emphasized.
The conference contributed to increasing students’ awareness of national and international practices in the field of health insurance and to enhancing their professional perspectives.
