Student Meeting Held in Our Department

A “Department Student Meeting” was held in our faculty’s conference hall on November 17, 2025, with the participation of academic staff and students from the Department of Health Management. The presentation of the meeting was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali ÜNAL.

During the meeting, the purpose of departmental student meetings was explained, and detailed information was provided on the accreditation process, its importance, and the benefits it offers to students. In this context, the active role of students in accreditation studies, the impact of student feedback on quality assurance processes, and the function of surveys within these processes were emphasized.

Additionally, alternative assessment and evaluation methods, their differences from traditional approaches, and their contributions to students’ academic performance were discussed. Throughout the meeting, suggestions were shared to encourage students to take a more active role in their educational processes.

At the end of the meeting, students were asked to share their views through the “Student Opinions Survey for the Health Management Department Quality Processes”, which was completed using a QR code. The survey included comprehensive questions on course evaluation processes, career services, Erasmus+ mobility, double major and minor programs, the service quality of administrative units, academic advising, social opportunities, support for disabled and disadvantaged students, the strengths of the department, and additional opinions or suggestions students wished to express.

This meeting played a significant role in encouraging students to actively participate in departmental operations, contribute directly to quality improvement processes, and support the enhancement of educational activities.
