Our Vocational School, by the decision taken at the meeting of the Higher Education General Assembly on 11.07.2007, was transferred to newly established universities in accordance with Laws No. 5467 and 5662, which changed the names and affiliations of certain Health Services Vocational Schools. Pursuant to Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880, it was decided that Gazi University Çorum Health Services Vocational School be transferred to Hitit University as the Health Services Vocational School.


Our Vocational School was officially opened on 11.01.2009. Initially, on 17.08.2011, under the Department of Medical Services and Techniques, the Anesthesia Program, Medical Imaging Techniques Program, and First and Emergency Aid Program were established, but student admission did not commence. On 12.02.2020, under the Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation, the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Program, and under the Department of Medical Services and Techniques, the Environmental Health Program were established, and student admission began as of the 2020–2021 Academic Year.


On 09.12.2020, under the Department of Pharmacy Services, the Pharmacy Services Program; under the Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation, the Occupational Therapy Program; under the Department of Medical Services and Techniques, the Audiometry Program; and under the Department of Child Care and Youth Services, the Child Protection and Care Services Program were established, with student admission beginning as of the 2021–2022 Academic Year.


Our Health Services Vocational School continues its activities at the associate degree level with a student-centered approach, based on the understanding of “Vocational Technical Education” and “Values Education,” aiming to train intermediate staff/technicians for both the private and public sectors.
