Doors Opening from Sungurlu to Europe: European Opportunities Information Seminar Held

The "European Opportunities Information Seminar," organized in cooperation with the Hitit University International Youth Activities Coordinatorship and Eurodesk Hitit, was held at the Sungurlu Vocational School Conference Hall with intense student participation.

During the event, comprehensive presentations were made regarding international mobility programs that will contribute to the personal and academic development of young people. The highlights of the seminar included:

  • Erasmus+ Program: Study and internship opportunities abroad, application processes, and grant supports.

  • European Solidarity Corps (ESC): Participation in volunteering activities abroad by taking part in social responsibility projects.

  • DiscoverEU: The opportunity for 18-year-olds to explore Europe via rail.

Fully Supported Projects and Certification The seminar also emphasized the free information support provided to young people through Eurodesk contact points. While the methods for covering expenses such as accommodation, travel, and pocket money within the scope of youth projects were explained, the importance of documenting acquired skills with the Youthpass certificate, which is valid across Europe, was highlighted for career advancement.

Our university will continue such information activities to ensure our students gain a global vision and take an active role in international platforms.
