HISTORY
In 1992, it started its education and training activities under the name of Map Cadastre affiliated to Gazi University. Since 2006, it has been carrying out its activities within the Vocational School within Hitit University. Since 2009-2010 academic year, the name of the programme has been changed as Map and Cadastre with the decision of YÖK.
PURPOSE
Graduates of the programme are given Associate Degree Diploma of Map and Cadastral Technician.
EDUCATION - EDUCATION
The duration of education is 2 years. A total of 56 weeks of education is given in 4 periods of fourteen weeks. In addition, each student has a 20-day compulsory internship.
OPPORTUNITY TO TRANSFER BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES
Horizontal transfer between Vocational Schools is available.
Graduates who have successfully completed the Map and Cadastre Associate Degree Programme, it is possible to transfer to the vertical transfer quotas opened in the relevant fields of universities with the Vertical Transfer Examination conducted by ÖSYM according to the exam score.
