Established in 2025, the Water and Waste Management Technician Program aims to promote the sustainable use of natural resources, to encourage individuals to actively participate in activities related to natural and artificial environments, and to strengthen their sense of responsibility. The program also seeks to contribute to the development of the field through continuous research in areas such as water quality, waste treatment methods, and environmental impact. Moreover, it aims to raise public awareness and foster a more active societal role in water and waste management through advanced educational programs and community outreach initiatives.

Education and Training

The associate degree program has a duration of two years, consisting of four semesters. Courses are offered on a semester basis, and the total duration of education is 56 weeks, with a minimum of 14 weeks per semester.

Transfer Opportunities

Graduates of the Water and Waste Management Technician Program may transfer laterally to equivalent programs in other vocational schools in Turkey, provided that they meet the necessary requirements.
Those who successfully complete the associate degree program may also transfer vertically to relevant undergraduate programs determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS), in accordance with their exam scores and related regulations of the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).
