German- Turkish Youth Bridge aims to strengthen the exchanges of student and youth between two countries. With concrete programs and enterprises, German- Turkish Youth Bridge aims to enhance mutual exchange opportunities and strengthen the relations between two countries.
The exchange projects between Baden-Württemberg and Turkey targets to meet the basic financial need of successful out-of-school youth exchange projects.
The exchange is supposed to aim to encourage the youth meet in an unprejudiced and comfortable manner. Additionally, it is aimed to create new activity areas as science and mathematics camps and conduct successful activities as long as possible. The superordinate goal is to support equality of opportunity in all levels.
The bilateral projects regarding Baden- Württemberg to be carried out between the dates of 15 February and 31 May 2016 will be promoted.
Possible formats:
Meetings enabling the youth to exchange the culture of the youth from the other country;
Meetings enabling them to observe the daily life of their peers from the other country;
Study camps in which the youth work together;
Cultural education projects, all kinds of theatre and music projects;
Sports matches in various disciplines;
Photographs and multimedia workshops etc.
The following programs will not be provided with grant:
Folklore teams, chorus and youth orchestra tours
International unilateral culture and research trips
Mainly touristic trips
Recreation trips
Individual language courses or international education residence
Babysitting residence
Projects on political party
Commercial projects
Constant working relations
Construction investments
The applicant institution is supposed to get information regarding the rules and regulations in Baden-Württemberg and Turkey and abide by them throughout the project.
The target group is the youth between 12 and 27 years old. The project intends for the youth supportive institutions and entrepreneurs which are public welfare or public body and are active in out-of-school youth education.
German- Turkish Youth Bridge consults institutions having no partner in the other country and supports finding a suitable cooperation partner.
German- Turkish Youth Bridge promotes the projects up to 12.500,00 €as a principle.
Financial support of the applicants is appreciated. The support of Federal German institutions is also possible.
The type of finance will be determined at the confirmation stage.
The grant supports from other resources and institutions is not affected by the grant of German- Turkish Youth Bridge. It is necessary to certify them separately.
The deadline for the applications is 21.01.2016.
