New Coordinator of Distance Learning Application and Research Center (HUZEM)

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Çolak who is the academician in our university Divinity Faculty Basic Islamic Sciences Department has been assigned to the coordinatorship of Distance Learning Application and Research Center.

We congratulate our academician assigned and wish continued success to him.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Çolak

He was born in 1963 in Amasya. After completing his primary education in Amasya, he graduated from Kayseri İmam Hatip High School (1984) and Divinity Faculty of Selçuk University (1989). He worked as teacher in Sinop Durağan ve Konya Ereğli İmam Hatip High Schools for eight years (1989-1997). He began to work as “Quran Specialist” in 1998 in İnönü University. He completed his master’s degree in 1992 and doctorate degree in 1999 in the Institute of Social Sciences in Selçuk University. He was appointed as Assistant Professor to the same Faculty in 2009 and received his title as Associate Professor in Islamic Law in 2011. He worked as  Head of Islamic Law Department and Vice Dean in Divinity Faculty of İnönü University. Appointed to Divinity Faculty of Hitit University in August 2016, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Çolak knows Arabic and English. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Çolak is married with two children.
