Dodurga District Governor, Muhammed Emin Elmalı expressed his thanks to our Rector for his studies exchanging ideas about Dodurga District.
After our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan visited Dodurga District Governor, he visited Dodurga Municipality with the attendance of Justice and Development Party Economic Affairs Vice President, Grand National Assembly of Turkey Planning and Budget Commission Member and NATO-PA Member Çorum MP Cahit Bağcı, Provincial Chairman Lawyer Rumi Bekiroğlu, Central District President Yaşar Anaç and Justice and Development Party Provincial Organization Executive Board Members.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan visited Dodurga Mayor Mustafa Aydın and congratulated him for his studies sharing information about our university.
Expressing his gratitude for the visit, Mayor Aydın Prof. Dr. Alkan stated that our Rector and his team have contributed a lot to the current situation of the university and wished him a continued success.
After the visits, the committee made study tours to Çatar and Kırklar Area in which organic farming is done. They examined the experiments of cappers, fennel, Echinacea, melissa, sage, thyme, lavender and buckwheat.
Organic farming potential, studies to enhance it in the district and in the region are discussed. Çorum MP Cahit Bağcı said, “We put great importance on the technical and scientific contributions of our University in the production of aromatic plants along with walnut, strawberry and cappers.” stating that they aim our University to make rural contributions to our city and economy.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan stated that all our academic and administrative staff are ready for making contributions to our city and districts.
