Occupational Health and Safety Basic Education Program, 7th training program of which is continuing was visited by our Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan. Getting information about the course from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dursun Ali Köse who is the director of Occupational Health and Safety Basic Training Course Program and the coordinator of Hitit University Occupational Health and Safety and examining the educational environment, Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan stated that basic training program was given approximately 200 students including the course on-going. He also said the average success of the course is on average in Turkey and registration for the 8th program has been completed.
Our Rector added “The coordinatorship of Occupational Health and Safety has been established in our university and within the scope of this coordinatorship, Occupational Health and Safety lesson will start to be given as optional or mandatory considering the students studying in all the departments / programs in Hitit University, OHS training involving all the staff will be given and the work for removing probable risks by creating risk analysis schedules of all the campuses will be made. In addition, within the context of the coordinatorship, Occupational Health and Safety Master's Degree Program with the distance education depending on the Science Institute and the preparations of OHS Directives of our university is probable to open soon. OHS Basic Education Program is continuing actively only in Çorum in the region.”
