In order to ensure that 2016 - Public Personnel Selection Examination (2016-KPSS/Secondary Education)which will be held in 20 November 2016 in our province by ÖSYM (Assessment Selection and Placement Center) Directorate could be carried out safely and securely, Provincial Examination Coordination Committee Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Hitit University Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan in 16 November 2016.
Representatives from Çorum Governorship, Municipality, Sungurlu District Governor, Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Provincial Security Directorate, Provincial National Education Directorate and Provincial Population and Citizenship Directorate attended the meeting. In the meeting, some issues such as getting over the test in peace and quiet and possible circumstances that may affect candidates' comforts, precautions to be taken in this regard were discussed.
Provincial Examination Coordination Chairman Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan says “The exam will be applied as one session – 120 minute, it will start at 10.00 am in 20 November 2016. The candidates will be given an identity check and will be taken to the examination rooms one hour before the exam so that the exam can start on time. This exam is the biggest test held in our city until this day. The exam will be held in 112 exam buildings. Almost 30.000 canditates will participate in the exam and approximately 4.300 staff will be assigned for this exam. The candidates should carefully read all the instructions through official website of ÖSYM Directorate (http://www.osym.gov.tr). I wish all the canditates success in the exam.”
Çorum Provincial Examination Coordinatorate serving as Candidate Application Center and Exam Coordinatorate within our university has become a regional center because of the number and type of exam that increase every year. Our Examination Coordinatorship coordinates the exams of ÖSYM, Anadolu University Distance Education Faculty and Atatürk University Distance Education Faculty. In the last two years, the coordinatorship has added YDS (KPDS/ÜDS), ALS, DİB-MBSTS, e-Certificate ve Atatürk University DEF to its exam pool.
With the number of examinations, there is a visible increase in the number of candidates participating in these examinations.
