Our academicians were gowned for their new titles ascending by our university Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan.
Prof. Dr. Süleyman Gezer who is the academician of Basic Islamic Sciences Department in Divinity Faculty and Prof. Dr. İbrahim Sönmez who is the academician of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering Department in Engineering Faculty were gowned with professorship by Prof. Dr. Alkan. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çağatay Evrim Afşarlar who is the academician of Surgical Sciences Department in Medicine Faculty was gowned with associate professorship by Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan.
Together with recent appointments taking place at our university, the number of our academicians has reached 657 with 50 Professors, 42 Associate Professors, 167 Assistant Professors.
We congratulate our academicians whose titles have ascended and wish them continued succees.
