According to the State University Ranking 2017 Report prepared for the second time this year based on the academic incentive scores first implemented in 2015, The Faculty of Divinity of our university was again the first among the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Sciences founded after 2006, as it was last year.
The Faculty of Divinity, one of the most established faculties of our university, which was founded in 1992 and started its educational activities the following year continues its educational activities with 61 teaching staff and about 1,400 undergraduate students. The faculty also offers post-graduate education opportunities for 600 students at doctorate and master's level. In addition to the intensive studies in the academic activities of our faculty members, the efforts in academic activities were also registered with this report. The result was a great joy and welcomed by the faculty, administrative staff and students.
Making statement about the subject, our university Rector Prof. Dr. Reha Metin Alkan says “Divinity Faculty of our university is a well-established one. It came first among the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Sciences founded after 2006 and came third among all the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Sciences, which is highly pleasing. I congratulate all the academic staff in the faculty and anybody contributing to this success.”
