The Department of Coaching Education at Hittite University has a dynamic academic structure that aims to train qualified coaches by combining the theoretical foundations of sports science with practical field knowledge. Our department is based on the scientific approach to sport, the systematic development of performance, and the support of the athlete's holistic development.
Our education programme consists of fundamental and advanced courses such as training knowledge, motor development, sports psychology, sports physiology, movement and performance analysis, and branch-specific technical-tactical training. Our students gain both academic and practical experience under the guidance of faculty members who are competent in their field and follow current scientific approaches; they can obtain coaching qualifications that are valid at national and international levels.
Our department offers students a wide range of practical opportunities through collaboration with sports clubs, federations, sports centres and schools; it strengthens the unity of theory and practice through fieldwork, seminars, workshop training and performance measurement applications. It also supports the development of a scientific research culture through postgraduate education opportunities and contributes to the academic dimension of sport.
