As the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Hitit University Graduate School, we offer thesis-based master’s, non-thesis master’s, and doctoral programs designed to educate competent scholars, independent researchers, and future academics in the field of sport sciences. Our programs are structured around a contemporary curriculum that includes core courses, electives, applied studies, and scientific research components. With an interdisciplinary perspective, we aim to equip our students with strong analytical skills, academic competence, and the capacity for scientific inquiry and production.
Our admission procedures are conducted in accordance with the relevant regulations and institutional guidelines. Applications are reviewed by the Departmental Admission Committee, while scientific evaluations and/or interviews are carried out by the Graduate Examination Jury. Admission to thesis-based master’s and doctoral programs is based on standardized examination scores, foreign language requirements, and academic background. Requests concerning the recognition of prior formal, non-formal, or informal learning are evaluated within the framework of existing regulations.
Graduates of our programs may pursue careers as independent researchers, academics, or specialists working within sports organizations, and may also be employed in various positions across public and private sector institutions related to education, sport, and health.
