Our Institute of Health Sciences at Hitit University was established pursuant to Article 1 of Law No. 5467 dated 17 March 2006 and Supplementary Article 66 of Law No. 2547 on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions. Our department is located within Hitit University Faculty of Health Sciences and the Institute of Health Sciences.
The Master of Science in Nursing Program was jointly conducted with Ondokuz Mayıs University until 2021 within the scope of the “Regulation on the Establishment of Joint Graduate Education and Training Programs Between Higher Education Institutions in Türkiye,” which was mutually signed by the relevant parties.
The Institute of Health Sciences was closed and merged under the name of the Graduate Education Institute pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 3119 published in the Official Gazette No. 31283 on 23 October 2020.
