Under the supervision of Research Assistant Dr. Tuba Büyüksırıt Bedir, with Prof. Dr. Bülent Kabak serving as the advisor, the project titled “The Potential of Antagonistic Yeasts in the Biological Control of Mycotoxigenic Molds: An Applied Approach on Model Foods” has been approved for support by TÜBİTAK under the 3501-Career Development Program.
The project aims to develop natural and sustainable solutions to address food safety problems caused by toxigenic molds.
Additionally, one Ph.D. student and one M.Sc. student from the Department of Food Engineering will be supported as research fellows, contributing to their academic development.
