The "İŞKUR Youth Program," launched in collaboration with the Turkish Employment Agency and our university to increase university students' employability and help them gain knowledge, skills, and experience, will begin implementation. A total of 587 students will benefit from the İŞKUR Youth Program in the 2025-2026 academic year. As part of the program, students will work full-time on specific days of the week in academic and administrative units at Hitit University. The program will begin on Monday, November 3, 2025, and end on Friday, June 26, 2026.
Application Requirements: The program application and participation requirements are as follows:
Being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey,
Being registered with İŞKUR (Turkish Employment Agency),
Being over 18 years of age,
Being an associate, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student at Hitit University and not having their registration suspended and/or inactive,
Not receiving old-age (retirement) or disability pension (those receiving disability or death pensions may benefit from the program),
Not being insured under Article 4 of Law No. 5510 within one month before the application date and the start date if selected as a participant,
Not being an employee of Hitit University or its affiliated, related, related, or subsidiary organizations within one year before the program application date and until the actual start date of the program,
Not being insured under Article 5 of Law No. 5510 (short-term insurance) during the application, start, and duration of the program,
Not having the total monthly income of those residing at the same address for the last month, as determined by the Address Registration System (AKS) on the application date. Their earnings must not exceed three times the net monthly minimum wage (this requirement is not required for those whose primary residence is in communal living spaces such as dormitories and shelters).
Not be eligible for active labor force programs or unemployment insurance as of the application and start date (not being eligible for and not receiving unemployment benefits).

Students accepted to the program will be able to work in the following core activity areas within the academic and administrative units of Hitit University:

Working Hours and Working Rights
The program will be implemented for a maximum of three days per week. Daily working hours are 7.5 (seven and a half) hours, and no less than this time may be worked. Participants' working days will be determined under the direction and supervision of Hitit University's Career and Alumni Office. A participant may participate in the program for a maximum of 140 active days. If students who participate in the program regain the right to work in the Spring Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year, they will be able to work the remaining days of their previous employment. They will be dismissed upon completion of 140 active days.
Participants will receive a net daily payment of ₺1,083.00 from İŞKUR for each day they participate in the program. İŞKUR will also cover the participants' occupational accident and disease, as well as general health insurance, based on the number of days they participate (not covered by retirement insurance premiums).
Applications and Process
Applications for the program must be submitted between October 13 and 17, 2025, through one of the methods listed below. Students eligible for employment will be determined by a draw conducted by a notary public from among the valid applications. The draw will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 9:30 AM in the Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall of the Faculty of Theology, Hitit University North Campus. Applicants are eligible to participate in the draw.
Students who meet the application requirements and wish to work within the program must apply by 11:59 PM on Friday, October 17, 2025:
• via the ALO-170 hotline,
• through the İŞKUR Mobile app,
• through the İŞKUR e-branch (login as a job seeker at www.iskur.gov.tr, then click "Online Transactions / Job Seeker / İŞKUR Youth Program"),
• via the genclik.iskur.gov.tr website, entering and selecting the program number of the province/district they wish to work in.
Those experiencing application difficulties can request assistance from İŞKUR Çorum Provincial Directorate staff. Students who apply despite not meeting the application and participation requirements will be removed from the program if their applications are detected during verification, even if the system accepts them.
