Child Development Club organized a Children’s Rights Event on November 26, 2025, at the Faculty of Health Sciences Conference Hall to raise awareness among students about children’s rights, strengthen child development professionals’ responsibilities in this field, and introduce current approaches to the protection of children’s rights.
During the event, club’s academic advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nisa Gökden KAYA, delivered a speech on the importance of children’s rights and the role of child development specialists in the field. Following this, 4th-year students of the Child Development Department, Melike İNEKCİ and Gönül KARAKAYA, shared presentations on the scope of children’s rights and the protection of children.
The event contributed to enhancing our students’ professional awareness and fostering a perspective sensitive to children’s rights.
