Orientation Program Held for First-Year Students

An orientation program for first-year students of the Department of Social Work was held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Health Sciences, under the coordination of Research Assistant Dr. Merve Nur Bozkurt Karalı.

The program introduced students to the Department of Social Work, academic staff, student communication and announcement channels. Information was also provided on Campus Card, meal reservations, student clubs, minor programs, graduation and exemption exams.

Students were informed about the curriculum, course credits, transcripts, academic advising, course registration and attendance requirements, as well as assessment and evaluation procedures, types of examinations, calculation of grades, academic integrity and the process for appealing examination results.

The program concluded with a question-and-answer session, providing students with an opportunity to clarify issues related to their university and academic life.
