Visit to Social Work Students During Field Practice

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevzat Gencer, a faculty member of the Department of Social Work at Hitit University, visited the institutions where students undertake their field practice: Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital Community and Mental Health Center, Çorum Nursing Home and Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center, and Çorum Children’s Homes Site Directorate for Children Aged 13–18.

During the visits, Dr. Gencer met with institutional supervisors and emphasized the importance of field practice as an integral component of social work education. He highlighted the role of collaboration between the university and practice institutions in developing students’ professional knowledge and skills. The meetings also provided an opportunity to exchange information on the students’ field practice processes.
