Opening of the Architectural Decorative Arts Program; Our proposal to the Council of Higher Education for opening an “Architectural Decorative Arts” program in the Technical Sciences Vocational School of our University was reviewed by the Higher Education Executive Board at its meeting dated 16.12.2015 and was found appropriate in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547 as amended by Law No. 2880.

Architectural Decorative Arts Program: This program aims to implement interior and exterior architectural decorative arts materials after the design phase, taking into account technological and artistic developments in the field. It aims to both develop new decorative proposals and preserve the original architectural structures that constitute our artistic and cultural heritage. Working in partnership with history, sociology, and art, the Architectural Decorative Arts Program also covers the subject of "restoration," a key area of expertise in our country. Graduates of the program earn the title of "technician."
Information About Student Employment: Students who graduate from the Architectural Decorative Arts Program can be employed primarily in the following sectors:<br>The Ministry of Culture, General Directorate of Foundations, General Directorate of National Palaces, Municipalities, Special Provincial Administrations,<br>Private organizations and offices related to Research and Project areas,<br>Graphic Design Agencies,<br>Ceramic Factories and ceramic-tile workshops.<br>They can work as master instructors in Public Education Centers.<br>In addition to their applied modern plastic arts education, they also receive training in subjects such as Turkish Architecture, Decoration, Ceramics, and Computer-Aided Design, so they can serve in these fields both as intermediate staff and independently in their own workplaces and workshops.
