In the announcement of Higher Education Press and Public Relations Counsel dated 22.07.2016, the authority to assign to abroad has been given to the university rectors in terms of sustainability of scientific activities of academic staff and non-interruption of representation in international scientific activities in higher education institutions.
Accordingly, except the ones being enquired within the context of FETÖ/PDY and allowed to be heard as a witness by the investigator (until the end of the investigation period), academicians if deemed appropriate by the Rectorship will be able to participate in congresses, conferences, seminars and other meetings related to similar professions which will be held abroad within the context of BAP (19008-International Scientific Activities Support Project) and Foreign Scientific Activities Support Program applications.
