Universities provide the ideal environment for students to discover their hobbies and areas of interest, as well as to develop themselves in these fields. The most significant element that creates this environment is undoubtedly the student clubs. Operating in a wide range of fields—from sports to music, from painting to literature—university student clubs are not only an important means for students to socialize from their very first year, but also a platform where they can produce and create new things outside of class hours.
At Hitit University, we not only focus on education and academic activities, but also provide our students with nearly 100 active student clubs that cater to various interests. Through these clubs, numerous student projects, technical visits, and social, cultural, artistic, and sports activities are organized.
Among the activities carried out by our 96 student clubs are chess tournaments, football competitions, tree planting events, visits to cultural heritage sites and museums, as well as a variety of sports activities. Each academic year, our university organizes a series of events such as symposia, panels, conferences, and exhibitions, along with picnics, tourism, and educational trips, believing that participation in such activities is an integral part of the educational process.
Our Sports Festival and Spring Festival are highly engaging events featuring concerts by well-known artists, conferences, and panels. Additionally, inter-university volleyball and football tournaments are organized. Cultural and scientific journals are published by various faculties, schools, and institutes within the university, while the proceedings of conferences, symposia, panels, and seminars are compiled into books and made available to readers.
All activities carried out within our student clubs aim to help students develop an intellectual perspective, a sense of collaboration, and the ability to make joint decisions and work together—ultimately enabling them to establish healthy and constructive relationships.
Our campuses include a Congress Center equipped with four conference halls designed for cultural and scientific events:
Ethem Erkoç Conference Hall – 224 seats
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Samsunlu Classroom – 80 seats
Abdullah Tayyip Olçok Conference Hall – 77 seats
