Within the scope of Katip Çelebi - Newton Fund which is coordinated by TUBITAK and officialized in 23 October 2014, the first call was opened between TUBITAK and British Council in 27 October 2014 enabling mutual research cooperation between Turkey and England with the aim of strengthening scientific, technology and cooperation activities. Katip Çelebi - Newton Fund will provide research support for mutual projects and foreign travel.
Mutual projects proposed within the framework of the cooperation between TUBITAK and British Council are supposed to have thematic areas; Lifelong health and wellbeing, Agriculture and food security, Disaster and emergency management, Energy and climate change, Social sciences. The projects on different areas will not be accepted.
Turkish partners who would like to propose mutual project within the framework of the cooperation between TUBITAK and British Council should do online application to “Bilateral Cooperation Program with British Council” on the address http://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr till 27 November 2014 and the original documents should be sent by post to TUBITAK till 05 December 2014.
As for the project partners in England, they should apply via the application system on the webpage of British Council with the partners in Turkey.
