Hitit University, in collaboration with the Middle Black Sea Development Agency (OKA) and the Anatolian Vocational Education and Business Development Association, has successfully completed the training program organized as part of the project “Design and Metal Material Support in Mill Machinery Production”, targeting industry professionals and university students.

Implemented by Hitit University Technology Transfer Office Inc. with support from OKA, the project aimed to enhance the design capacity and improve material selection processes in the production of mill machinery, one of Çorum’s priority sectors.

As part of the project, advanced SolidWorks training was provided to technical personnel from the Çorum Organized Industrial Zone companies Atılım, Emta Makine, and Makine ve Enerji (MAKENAS), as well as students from Hitit University’s Mechanical Engineering Department. Conducted in collaboration with Armada Software, the training was completed by 13 participants.

In the second phase, companies received technical consultancy focused on material selection to enhance product quality and durability.
