According to the decision taken in the Senate Meeting on August 19, 2015, ‘Occupational Health and Safety’ course will be added to all the associate and bachelor’s degrees programmes curriculum of Hitit University. The programme will be at least two hours per week in the curriculum.
The course curriculum includes the acquisition of the culture of Occupational Health and Safety, giving information about Occupational Health and Safety numbered 6331 and labor law numbered 4857, occupational accident in general, occupational illness and the issues to prevent them in the first 6 weeks and also it includes identification of processes on occupational health and safety, the use of required safety equipment and hardware and the issues concering developing risk analysis sceles and taking necessary measures in the remaining 8 weeks.
