Hitit University President Prof. Dr. Reha Metin ALKAN has given a message to celebrate the Turkish Language Day. 26 September 1932 on which Turkish Language Council was first came together is celebrated as Turkish Language Day. Having improved through history, Turkish Language is the strongest bridging element for mutual cultures and nations. With the scientific studies, our langugage has started to gain more importance and reputation around the world. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to preserve and improve Turkish Language in today’s rapidly changing world. In this regard, one of the aims of our university is to train students who are conscious of Turkish Language. In line with this, I hope that Turkish Language will always be among the living languages around the world. With this in mind, I would like to thank everyone who contribute to the improvement of Turkish Language.
