Our women, who are actively involved in education, science, economics, politics, business and many other fields, are contributing greatly to the sustainable growth and development of our country and making great contributions to the shaping of the society we are in.
A woman who is the basic building block of our family culture which is an indispensable element of our society is above all a wife and mother. As it has been in the past, the Turkish Nation, which values and cares for women, has held them in high esteem as it is required in our religion and culture.
With this feeling and thought, I congratulate all of our women on March 8th International Women's Day with my sincere emotions, especially our colleagues who have achieved great successes together; I wish health, peace and success.
