Hitit University Office for Compliance with the Turkish Qualifications Framework and Accreditation was established pursuant to the University Senate Decision No. 2024/137, adopted at the Senate Meeting dated October 31, 2024 (Meeting No. 17), with the purpose of ensuring the coordination of both institutional and program accreditation processes across the University.
The objectives and fields of activity of the Office are as follows:
a) To track the University’s program and institutional accreditation processes, to determine the overarching principles governing these processes, and to plan, implement, and coordinate the relevant activities;
b) To provide, or ensure the provision of, consultancy services to the units engaged in accreditation processes;
c) To plan and coordinate all activities to be conducted with internal and external stakeholders in relation to accreditation processes;
d) To measure and evaluate the outcomes of accreditation activities and to make the necessary revisions when required;
e) To establish subcommittees, boards, working groups, and unit/program coordinators related to accreditation activities, and to define their respective duties and responsibilities;
f) To prepare and submit to the Rectorate reports on the extent of realization of the activities carried out within the scope of accreditation efforts, together with the proposed measures to be taken.
