In
the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Laboratory, advanced experimental
studies are conducted on single-stage vapor compression systems, two-stage
vapor compression cascade refrigeration systems, recirculating air conditioning
systems, and integrated energy systems in which vapor compression refrigeration
systems are combined with air conditioning systems.
Experimental
studies for TÜBİTAK 2209-A Projects, BAP Projects, as well as Master’s and
Doctoral theses, have been and continue to be carried out in the Air
Conditioning and Refrigeration Laboratory.
In
addition, as part of the preparation of vapor compression refrigeration systems
for experimental work, processes such as evacuating (vacuuming) the systems, charging
them with different refrigerants, and connecting temperature, pressure, and
flow meters are also performed within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
Laboratory.
