The
Polymer Processing and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Laboratory is a dual-focus
facility that aims to optimize the production processes of polymeric materials
and ensure quality control without compromising the structural integrity of the
produced parts.
In
this laboratory, final product prototypes are manufactured from polymer raw
materials, and the effects of processing parameters on material properties are
investigated. The performance and durability analyses of the fabricated
components are conducted using Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods. Within
this scope, the dynamic behaviors, potential defects, and failures of machine
components or polymeric structures are identified and thoroughly characterized
and analyzed.
